RETURNS:        
All warranty claims and other returns require completing our online “RMA Request Form”.  A Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number will be issued for all returns approved by General Filters, Inc.  Product approved for return must be shipped freight prepaid by sender. The RMA number must be clearly visible on outside of the shipping carton, and inside the box. Include a copy of your PO or invoice.  The return must be made within (30) days of such authorization and the request made (90) days from the original invoice date.  Authorized product returns within (30) days of invoice date are not subject to penalties.  Authorized product returns (31-90) days of invoice date are subject to a 20% handling service charge.  We do not accept returns of product not directly purchased from our offices.
 
We Do Not Accept Returns As Follows:
  • If you purchased your product from a location other than our offices.
  • If you are trying to return a whole unit.
  • If you do not have an assigned RMA Number.
  • If you do not include an RMA Number with your return.
  • Parts that have been modified or altered in any way void the warranty.
IMPORTANT:
  • If you are returning more than one item in a package, EACH ITEM must be tagged individually, with the applicable General Filters, Inc. assigned RMA number. If this is not done, your return will be delayed.
  • Product warranties are void if your product is not installed by a licensed contractor.
