Indoor air quality survey launched for the facilities management/building services sector

Camfil UK, the world leader in providing air filtration solutions for maintaining healthy and comfortable indoor environments, has launched a quick 2 minute survey on indoor air quality for FM, Estates Managers and Building Services professionals in the UK.

Camfil UK have launched the national survey exploring general awareness and understanding of indoor air quality (IAQ) in non-domestic buildings and the health implications of indoor air pollution in the workplace.

The IAQ survey will be promoted across all industries via the UK’s leading FM trade associations, industry institutions and trade unions. Clients, building owners, FM’s, estates managers, property managers of non-domestic buildings will be encouraged to take the survey.

Camfil recently highlighted the call for EU action to effectively tackle indoor air pollution and its health implications. 2013 is a notable year for Camfil as it is The European ‘Year of Air’ initiative, part of a larger effort to push for stronger EU air quality laws and tighten policies to protect human health and the environment. 2013 is also the year that Camfil celebrates 50 years of operations as the No.1 air filtration company in Europe and a global leader in clean air solutions.

The survey results are expected to give an insight into awareness of Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and highlight areas for raising awareness of IAQ and its health implications in the workplace. Results will be published in 2013 via the campaign website www.keepthecityout.co.uk and should highlight the issues arising from the most comprehensive UK review of the subject to date.
